Sunan Ibn Majah 3405

Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَيَانٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُخَيْمِرَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الأَوْعِيَةِ فَانْتَبِذُوا فِيهِ وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Buraidah from his father that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:“I used to forbid you to use certain vessels, but now make Nabidh in them, but avoid all intoxicants.”
