Hadith
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارٌ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ بَايَعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ فَلَقَّنَنِي " فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتَ وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ " .

It was narrated that Jarir bin 'Abdullah said:"I gave my pledge to the Prophet to hear and obey, and he told me to add the words.' In as much as you can, and to be since toward every Muslim"'. (Sahih)
