Ayah 1 of Al-Infitaar 82:1

Arabic Text

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ

Transliteration

Izas samaaa'un fatarat

Translation

When the sky breaks apart

Ayah 2 of Al-Infitaar 82:2

Arabic Text

وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ

Transliteration

Wa izal kawaakibun tasarat

Translation

And when the stars fall, scattering,

Ayah 3 of Al-Infitaar 82:3

Arabic Text

وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ

Transliteration

Wa izal bihaaru fujjirat

Translation

And when the seas are erupted

Ayah 4 of Al-Infitaar 82:4

Arabic Text

وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ

Transliteration

Wa izal qubooru bu'sirat

Translation

And when the [contents of] graves are scattered,

Ayah 5 of Al-Infitaar 82:5

Arabic Text

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ

Transliteration

'Alimat nafsum maa qaddamat wa akhkharat

Translation

A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.

Ayah 6 of Al-Infitaar 82:6

Arabic Text

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ

Transliteration

Yaaa ayyuhal insaaanu maa gharraka bi Rabbikal kareem

Translation

O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,

Ayah 7 of Al-Infitaar 82:7

Arabic Text

ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ

Transliteration

Allazee khalaqaka fasaw waaka fa'adalak

Translation

Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?

Ayah 8 of Al-Infitaar 82:8

Arabic Text

فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍۢ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ

Transliteration

Feee ayye sooratim maa shaaa'a rakkabak

Translation

In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.

Ayah 9 of Al-Infitaar 82:9

Arabic Text

كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ

Transliteration

Kalla bal tukazziboona bid deen

Translation

No! But you deny the Recompense.

Ayah 10 of Al-Infitaar 82:10

Arabic Text

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَٰفِظِينَ

Transliteration

Wa inna 'alaikum lahaa fizeen

Translation

And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,

Ayah 11 of Al-Infitaar 82:11

Arabic Text

كِرَامًۭا كَٰتِبِينَ

Transliteration

Kiraaman kaatibeen

Translation

Noble and recording

Ayah 12 of Al-Infitaar 82:12

Arabic Text

يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ

Transliteration

Ya'lamoona ma taf'aloon

Translation

They know whatever you do.

Ayah 13 of Al-Infitaar 82:13

Arabic Text

إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍۢ

Transliteration

Innal abraara lafee na'eem

Translation

Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure,

Ayah 14 of Al-Infitaar 82:14

Arabic Text

وَإِنَّ ٱلْفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍۢ

Transliteration

Wa innal fujjaara lafee jaheem

Translation

And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire.

Ayah 15 of Al-Infitaar 82:15

Arabic Text

يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ

Transliteration

Yaslawnahaa Yawmad Deen

Translation

They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense,

Ayah 16 of Al-Infitaar 82:16

Arabic Text

وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ

Transliteration

Wa maa hum 'anhaa bighaaa 'ibeen

Translation

And never therefrom will they be absent.

Ayah 17 of Al-Infitaar 82:17

Arabic Text

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ

Transliteration

Wa maaa adraaka maa Yawmud Deen

Translation

And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?

Ayah 18 of Al-Infitaar 82:18

Arabic Text

ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ

Transliteration

Summa maaa adraaka maa Yawmud Deen

Translation

Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?

Ayah 19 of Al-Infitaar 82:19

Arabic Text

يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌۭ لِّنَفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا ۖ وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلَّهِ

Transliteration

Yawma laa tamliku nafsul linafsin shai'anw walamru yawma'izil lillaah

Translation

It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing
and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah.
